MPK Mobile Electric Gantry Crane – moves freely without rails
The MPK mobile electric gantry crane brings the crane to the load, not the other way round. Without rails, it travels on level, solid hall floors in a straight line or around curves, or turns on the spot, even under full load up to 3,200 kg. The MPK is operated by radio remote control and draws its power from a CEE 16 A panel-mounted plug directly on the leg.
Applications
The MPK plays to its strengths wherever loads of up to 3,200 kg need to be moved to changing locations within a hall:
- Assembly and production: Bring components, assemblies and workpieces directly to the workstation
- Maintenance and servicing: Remove and install motors, gearboxes or machine components right where the machine stands

What sets the MPK apart
A crane without a crane runway
No rails, no foundations, no changes to the hall structure. Simply plug the MPK into a CEE socket and it is ready for use. Ideal wherever a permanently installed crane is not structurally feasible or not worthwhile.
Motor-driven instead of pushed by hand
Two frequency-controlled geared motors move the crane, even with 3,200 kg on the hook. Nobody has to push a heavy load through the hall by muscle power. This protects your employees and keeps every movement under control.
Manoeuvrable in the tightest spaces
Straight ahead, around corners or turning on the spot: the MPK goes wherever the load is. Even between machines, racks and workstations.
Built-in safety
Four electric contact buffers respond as soon as the crane touches an obstacle. Together with the radio remote control, the operator always keeps a safe distance from the load.
One crane for many tasks
Fitted with a manual or electric chain hoist, the MPK adapts to the job at hand. Today in assembly, tomorrow in the warehouse, the day after in maintenance.
Radio remote control operation
The MPK is controlled entirely by radio. No control cable, no fixed operating position: the operator moves freely around the crane and can always choose the spot with the best view of the load, the travel path and the surroundings.
This makes work safer. Nobody has to stand directly next to or underneath the load to move the crane. The frequency-controlled drives accelerate and brake smoothly. Even heavy loads can be placed calmly and precisely, for example when setting them down on a machine bed or manoeuvring between installations.
